| TEIN*CC Staff Training 2019 | |

ㅇ When: 20-24 May, 2019 ㅇ Where: TEIN*CC ㅇ Trainers: Hélène de Rengervé (Welcomeurope) Munyaradzi Shahwen(GÉANT) TEIN*CC staff training was conducted for a week to improve knowledge and practical know-hows about the EU project management. The training was composed in two part; managing the EU external aid funds projects and expense settlement of the sub-granted projects & financial issues. The experts from welcomeurope and GEANT visited TEIN*CC and provided hands-on sessions. The EU project management training program covers overall EU project cycle management and evaluations as: the EU 2020 strategy & policies, project cycle management, logical framework matrix, Narrative & Financial Reporting, Sub-contracting, Project leader obligations, and Project evaluation & monitor. Following hands-on sessions, there were workshops focusing on Asi@Connect project management, logical framework matrix and evaluation & monitoring. The financial training was mainly dealt with case studies for sub-granting account management and audit according to the EC’s financial guidelines. This program was planned to enhance TEIN*CC staff capabilities for improved service to the sub-grating programs and for a betterment of Asi@Connect project management.
