| Asi@Connect sub-project kick-off: RICESTATS DATABASE | |

RICESTATS DATABASE, part of the Asi@Connect project being led by TEIN Cooperation Center, and organized by IRRI supports collaborative programmes in areas such as Earth and ocean observation related to natural disasters, climate research, food security, e-health and e-learning, government, education and training, and cultural heritage. The data gathered will play a significant role in helping researchers and government agencies deliver the most updated data, thus, ensuring farmers are well-equipped with information that they need to make critical decisions. This project kick-off event will be held on 29 November 2019. The launch will be hosted by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the Department of Science and Technology- Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI), and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 29, 2019 at Dusit Thani Manila.
