| [Announcement] 2017 TEIN NOC Workshop awarded to PERN | |

The call for proposals: TEIN NOC Workshop 2017 was announced on 11 Sep 2017 to host “TEIN Annual NOC Workshop” aimed at facilitating network engineers for the operation & management of network for their NRENs and therefore promoting international collaborations throughout the TEIN.
A total of 4 applications was received from the Asi@Connect project partners. And the evaluation committee recommended that the contract should be awarded to PERN, Pakistan Education and Research Network, that scored the highest in the evaluation carried out with 10 criteria.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on 11 - 15 December for 5 days in Islamabad, Pakistan. And an invitation to each NREN will be advertised soon.
