The 10th Asia Telemedicine Symposium on December 2 and 3, 2016, in Hanoi

  

 

 

This is the first time the Asia Telemedicine Symposium is held in Vietnam. The great contribution that ATS have brought to medical science and practice is undeniable. ATS has become the most expected yearly event for Asian experts in the field to gasp the latest progress and technique, to share experience, to find ways to deal with future tasks.

 

Telemedicine has been applied increasingly and widely in our healthcare system. However, as other developing countries in Asia, we have faced challenges due to the financial difficulty, the backward technology system and the difficulty reaching remote areas of our country, that why we choose the theme for the 10th ATS is “Telemedicine in Developing Countries”. We believe the experience in field of friends from all over the Asia can help us improve the quality of healthcare service with limited resources.
