TEIN4 HRD Training Programme in Laos Human Capacity Building in Campus Network Design, Security and Monitoring Training for Network Engineers March 14-18th, 2016 The National University of Laos Under TEIN4 HRD support, the University of Laos (LERNET) is planning to host a training workshop with the title of "Human Capacity in Campus Network Design, Security and Monitoring Training for Network Engineers" from March 14th to 18th. This workshop is designed to provide hands-on experience on establishing a more standard, robust and secure network. The workshop covers concepts, technology, threats, and the policies in monitoring and maintaining network as well as security. Finally, the training further discusses the plans and actions that can be implemented and maintained the LERNET. 30 trainees from potential members of LERNET and some TEIN beneficiary countries are expected to participate in the event. The main objectives are : to understand the concept, services and campus network design, security and monitoring.; and to acquire knowledge and skills necessary to implement and operate the network.
