[Brief Result] The 2nd Asi@Connect Meeting held in Dalian, China

The 2nd Asi@Connect meeting successfully completed today, 1 Sep, with dedicated support of the representative of Asi@Connect partners. This meeting was consisted with Governors meeting, Steering Committee meeting, Project meeting and partner’s bi-lateral meeting, and co-located with APAN44 in Dalian, China during the whole week of 28 Aug to 1 Sep. Twenty-Three (23) representatives out of Twenty-four (24) members attended including remote participation from NKN, India. Each National Research and Education Network (NREN) representative shared their up-to-dated information about network and activities, and had open discussion for the project partners’ activities.

On the 2nd day of the week, APAN44 and Asi@Connect hosted the joint opening reception for APAN44 and Asi@Connect meeting participants. It was the first time to organize joint reception with APAN and warmly welcomed by all reception attendees. 

 

 

 

 

We remember this whole week with few numbers:
40 participants (23 governors and 17 observers) in the 2nd Asi@Connect Governors Meeting;
80 participants in the 2nd Asi@Connect Project Meeting;
10 members in the Asi@Connect Steering Committee Meeting; 
30 Bi-lateral meetings with Asi@Connect partners and global R&E institutions; and
More than 300 participants in APAN44!
