| Promote the development of cloud computing and online application information Eurasia TEIN4 | |

(ICTPress) - To promote the development of cloud computing and the application on network TEIN4" is the theme of international seminar to deploy advanced network applications for research and education by the Department of Information National Science and Technology in collaboration with Tran-Eurasian Information Network (TEIN4) and the Research and Education Network Thailand (ThaiREN) organizations from 6 to 7 December, 2012 in Hanoi. The workshop has attracted hundreds of participants remotely via online TV and direct more than 40 participants from research institutes, universities and research network operations center and TEIN4 participating countries. The workshop is also an opportunity to launch new TEIN Cooperation Center that was established to coordinate and operating activities of TEIN4 project. TEIN4 project is a high-speed backbone network connecting research institutions, universities in different continents. This is the best place to deploy cloud services oriented research and academic network. According to Lee Patch, a technical director of TEIN*Cooperation Centre: a number of research organizations can participate in the construction and maintenance of cloud services and applications on network TEIN4. Through TEIN4 a transcontinental high speed network, networking of research institutions can meet the requirements of cloud computing services and applications. About TEIN 4 presentation - Patch Lee, a technical director of TEIN*CC As a member of TEIN4, VinaREN was super grow and promote infrastructure cloud computing applications and applications for community research and education in Vietnam and the international integration of science and technology. VinaREN is the Vietnamese research and education network by the Department of Information Science and Technology National operational management. Dr. Ta Ba Hung - Department of Information Science and Technology National - said: VinaREN is now a member of Network advanced Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) and TEIN4. The size of VinaREN reached most research and training center in the country. Now in connection VinaREN on 60 network members covered 11 provinces / cities in the country, at the same time connected with 50 million users in more than 8,000 research and training centers in the world. The participants of the workshop to share the latest research and development achievements and experience in deploying cloud computing and other advanced network applications. Workshop content covers many key issues in the implementation of cloud computing as: The service model (SaaS / PaaS / laaS); Privacy / personal information / information integrity and services of cloud computing applications; cloud computing business model; strategies and policies on cloud computing; Measures, framework and methodology for evaluation of the performance clusters clouds; privacy issues related to personal information, standards, interoperability, latency, performance and reliability, etc. in the cloud. The participants also discussed the ability to deploy applications, create clouds academic cooperation between the Member States on network platform of TEIN4. Cloud computing is a natural evolution of grid computing and the widespread application of hardware and software virtualization and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Cloud computing's goal is to share resources between service users, partners, and cloud vendors in the cloud value chain. The workshop addressed the broad issues in cloud computing and other applications on network TEIN4. The target is a collection of research and development applications to exchange ideas, presentations and seminars review the latest achievements and lessons learned to address the challenges related to cloud computing, to discuss cooperation between the NREN academics and develop applications in network TEIN4. The workshop has contributed an important part to promote international integration in the field of advanced network applications for research and education.
