Dear colleagues,TERENA invites you to submit your abstract for the international TERENA Networking Conference 2013 (TNC2013). The theme of TNC2013 is 'Innovating Together'.The conference will be held from 3 - 6 June 2013 in Maastricht, Netherlands, organised by TERENA and hosted by SURFnet, the Dutch research and education networking organisation.Papers can now be submitted directly to the TNC2013 website:http://tnc2013.terena.org/submit*Deadline for submission is 30 November 2012.*NOTE: In order to submit your abstract you will first have to login to the website.The website uses federated login, which means that we do not provide usernames/passwords any more; instead you can log in using your own institutional account.If your institution is not listed, you can use one of the guest providers such as Google, Yahoo!, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.TNC2013 is the European networking meeting place, bringing together decision makers, networking specialists and managers from all major European networking and research organisations, universities, worldwide sister institutions and industry representatives. Internet2 Member Meetings (known as TIP 2013, 1.13~17, 2013)

TIP2013 January 13 - January 17, 2013The Winter 2013 APAN /ESnet /Internet2 technical meeting, known as TIP2013, is hosted by the University of Hawaii, from Saturday, January 12 through Friday, January 18. Plenary sessions will be from 8:30 am to 5 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; tutorials will be held all day on Sunday and several Workshops will be held both before (Saturday/Sunday) and after (Thursday/Friday) the plenary sessions. A number of co-located workshops, meetings, and gatherings are expected both before and after TIP2013. The event will be held at the East-West Center (located at 1601 East-West Road on the University's Manoa campus). News▶ The Call for Proposals is NOW CLOSED. Review of proposals will take several weeks but we hope to alert successful applicants by 5 October, 2012. Thank you!▶ Keynote speakers have been confirmed for each day of TIP2013: Michael McRobbie (IU) on Monday, Paul Vixie (ICANN) on Tuesday, and Ian Foster (UChicago/ANL) on Wednesday.▶ A Call for Proposals has been issued; all submissions must be received by September 14, 2012 to be eligible for consideration.▶ Registration information will be posted in October.▶ Lodging information will be posted in October. This MeetingPROPOSALS: Descriptions for the focus areas are currently being developed; however, please feel free to submit proposals on the posted topics as they will be duly considered. 35th APAN Meeting (Hawaii)

By bringing these meetings together into one location, TIP 2013 encourages greater global dialogue, facilitates technical collaboration across the Pacific and provides an important discussion forum for issues of concern to R&E network stakeholders in this region of the world. The meeting will take place from January 13 ? 16, 2013.To ensure a dynamic and thought-provoking program, planning is already underway. We are currently inviting abstract proposals for: a) full or "lightning round" presentations, b) tutorials (90-minute, 1/2-day and full-day), c) lunchtime meetings (SIGs, BoFs and Working Groups), d) posters and e) co-located meetings and workshops.
