TEIN4 project closed

2015: 03 The 7th TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Fukuoka Mongolia and New Zealand joined as new members in the TEIN project. The members have expanded to 23 countries; 08 The 8th TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Kuala Lumpur

2014: 01 The 5th TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Bandung; 08 The 6th TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Nantou; 10 ASEM 10 Summit Meeting EU and Asian leaders reiterated their further support for the TEIN project’s implementation

2013: 01 The 3rd TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Hawaii; 08 The 4th TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Daejeon Afghanistan joined as a new member in the TEIN project. The members have expanded to 20 countries

2012: 04 TEIN4 contract was signed between EU/EC and TEIN*CC.; 05 The 1st TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Seoul TEIN4 partners and EU delegation attended the TEIN*CC's inaugural Opening Ceremony; 08 The 2nd TEIN*CC Governors’ Meeting in Colombo. TEIN*CC officially took over the TEIN roject from DANTE; 10 ASEM9 Summit Meeting EU and Asian leaders noted the establishment of the TEIN*CC and the successful launch of the 4th phase of the TEIN project

2011: 08 The TEIN*CC has been legally registered under the Korean Civil Law as a non-profit foundation

2010: 02 In the 4th TEIN3 Technical Committee Meeting in Sydney, Korea formally proposed to establish the ‘TEIN*Cooperation Center’ in Korea as a non-profit organization under the Supervision of ASEM; 10 ASEM 8 Summit Meeting The 4th Phase of the TEIN project[TEIN4] and the TEIN*CC received endorsement from the ASEM8 Summit in Brussels

2008: 10 ASEM 7 Summit Meeting EU and Asian leaders recognized the success of TEIN, and welcomed the launch of TEIN3(Jan.2008~Sep.2012)

2007: 01 ASEM 7 Summit Meeting The 1st proposal of TEIN organization was reported in the 12th TEIN2 Technical Committee Meeting in Manila

2006: 04 ASEM 7 Summit Meeting TEIN2 (Jan.2004~Dec.2008) was launched officially at ASEM6 in Helsinki. DANTE in Europe carried out the TEIN project with 10 Asian countries

2004: 01 ASEM 7 Summit Meeting The European Union(EU) announced to commit a substantial amount of contribution for the continuity of the TEIN initiative[TEIN2] until the end of 2007

2000: 10 At the 3rd Asia-Europe Meeting(ASEM3) in Seoul, the European Commission(EC), Singapore and Korea jointly proposed the Trans Eurasia Information Network[TEIN] Project and it was adopted as one of the new ASEM projects
